The Challenge

For Jane Johnson of RM Johnson & Sons, photography wasn’t part of the original plan.
“I didn’t know until the show that I was going to be shopping for a photography system for my jewelry, but here I am,” she said.

Like many jewelers, Jane struggled to take professional-looking photos using only an iPhone or standard lightbox.
 

“It’s often difficult. I’m not that good at photography with an iPhone camera, and I don’t know how to blur out background images and things like that,” she explained.
